I’m an ultradistance endurance athlete who has spent years pushing the limits of performance — not just in terms of kilometers, but also in how well the body can function stably for many hours under extreme load. After multiple ultra races, it became clear to me that the conventional carbohydrate-based fueling strategy does work, but it comes with a serious cost: energy rollercoasters, slower recovery, and constant dependence on external fuel.
This realization pushed me toward fat-oxidation-based metabolism.
I don’t follow a functional carnivore diet as an ideology, but as a deliberate metabolic strategy. Through my own training sessions, ketone measurements, heart rate data, and recovery experiences, I’m developing and refining this approach — the results of which I’m documenting in a book in progress, while also showing here on this page how the body responds to a fat-based energy system under ultra-level stress.
My goal is not to showcase some extreme experiment, but to build a sustainable model — a path that works in harmony with human biology over the long term, delivers stable energy, enables faster recovery, and significantly reduces the constant pressure to refuel.
